Web Support Engineer (30h)

We are currently looking for a Web Support Engineer (30h) to join our international team with headquarters in Vienna. The job is a remote job for the Hungarian office, you must be based in Hungary.

Your area of work

As part of our ICT-team you will provide second and third level support to internal departments for advanced configuring and enhancements of our web tools used or developed by Greenpeace (i.e. HubSpot, CMS (Wordpress, ModX), Open Social, self developed software like Online Donation Forms). You will be coordinating internal support communication around our web services and be part of briefing and controlling the enrollment of feature developments for our own software.


To do this, you will need

  • At least 2 years of work experience or a successfully absolved technical education 
  • Fluent English, with demonstrated skill and passion for a support-minded communication
  • Good general web skills (HTML, CSS)
  • Advanced general IT Skills (data types, debugging, encoding, Linux, Apache/nginx) and logic thinking
  • Huge advantage: experience with using advanced digital marketing tools (i.e. Hubspot, eCommerce, CMS)
  • Bonus: basic web development skills (PHP, JS, API-handling)
  • Work permit to work in Hungary
