Web Support Engineer

Job description

Currently we are looking for a Web Support Engineer to join our 90 people strong team in Vienna.


Requirements

Your area of work

You will provide second and third level support to internal departments for advanced configuring and enhancements of our web tools used or developed by Greenpeace (i.e. Newsletter Workflows-Tool, Engagement Tool, Marketing-CMS, Online Donation Form). You will be testing new feature developments for our own software and creating training materials for broadening Know How across the organization.


To do this, you will need

  • At least 2 years of work experience or a successfully absolved technical education 
  • Good web skills (HTML, CSS)
  • Advanced general IT Skills (data types, debugging, encoding, Linux, Apache/nginx)
  • Fluent German and English, with demonstrated skill and passion for a support-minded communication
  • Huge advantage: experience with using advanced digital marketing tools (eCommerce,  CMS, Newsletter-Tools etc.)
  • Bonus: experience with web application monitoring (Log Files, Tideways or similar)
  • Bonus: basic web development skills (PHP, JS, API-handling)
